Friday!!

Woot! It's Friday and a big day for the Badgers. Although I had them losing in the second round of the tournament, I think they are going to crush Davidson. I have a few friends that flew out this morning to check out the tourney in Detroit, man that would be so cool.

We had our last cooking class last night. We made a variety of Salsas. I didn't realize that salsa means "Sauce" in Spanish. Funny, the things you learn. We also made corn and flour tortillas which were very tasty but the corn ones were a bit thick and heavy. Good times, though. It would be fun to take more cooking classes in the future. Rafe was actually normal yesterday, no crazy rants or anything!

Tonight, Amber and I are going to eat at this new restaurant in Cottage Grove called 1855 Saloon and Grill. It got great reviews and is quite popular at the moment. We're going to try to go at 6:00 but we may have a wait because of the Badger game at 6:10. After that we are thinking of getting some gellato on State St. and then do some random shopping for things like shoe laces, rakes, spring foam pans, pants, hedge trimmer, heck...heck, maybe even the patio set or some wood binds to finish up the house. Wherever the night takes us. And if we have time, we'll watch a movie from Netflix. I think we have "Hairspray" waiting...it wasn't my pick.

Today is a pretty relaxing day, gonna go down to State St. for lunch with some co-workers, Qdoba perhaps. Might run out to a sub. or two to check out a few projects. Write a few emails. Surf the net. Get on the horn.

Sunday is the big Chili Cook off and I have a feeling the underdogs will pull off an upset (that is us). Hopefully our cheesecake will do well too. I will vote for ours regardless unless someone else's is ridiculously good. I suppose I have to be fair.

Anywho, time for lunch...later!
